Episode 4-Where’s The Beef?
Hey all, sorry for the delay but it was my birthday on March 12th so I took the day off. It was also the day that Episode 4 of Cycle 10 aired. I would have posted sooner but I had some things in my personal life come up. Well now, on to the recap and videos.
The girls went to the New York City Fire Department for a runway lesson with Miss J. This lesson is performed in front of the firefighters. They had 90 seconds to change into their outfits but Fatima didn’t change her shoes. I had to laugh at Miss J’s reaction, she can be such a drama queen, but you gotta love it.
Anyways, as usual there is new drama and tension in the girls loft. This time it is because Aimee calls a shower to herself, because she doesn’t feel comfortable being naked in front of the others. Now theres something I agreed with, and to be honest, I don’t think it should have caused so much drama because there ARE three other bathrooms. Whitney defended Aimee’s conservative views which caused Marvita and Fatima to vent their frustrations on her.
After the drama session the girls go to a runway show where they walk for the fashion label “Tulah”. Now this part of the episode is my favorite because one of my favorite ANTM winners, Jaslene, makes an appearance and critiqued the girls after the runway show. I found this runway show to be hilarious, there was a nipple flash but I won’t say by who lol. The winner of this challenge was Katarzyna who chose Amis and Marvita to join in her prize which was a Lot 29 photo shoot in Seventeen Magazine with Jaslene. I would love to have that kind of prize especially with one of my role models.
This weeks photo shoot made me kind of sick and made me wonder what vegans and other people thought about it. It took place in the Meat Packing District, where they had to wear and pose with meat. I feel queasy just thinking about it.
Anyways, enough about the strange photo shoot, on to what happened at the judging panel. Twenty minutes before the time that they have to be there, Amis is still sleeping. When she finally wakes up she only has time to put on a headband and sweater. And of course, as some of the other girls predicted she is called out for not dressing like a model. This weeks bottom two was Amis and Fatima. Amis was called out for her lack of focus while Fatima was criticized for her inability to switch it up when modeling from the waist up. Needless to say, Amis gets the boot and Fatima is given another chance to prove herself.
