Episode 3-Top Model Makeovers
You know what I like most about ANTM? The makeovers :DThis episode is the one where they get their Top Model makeovers. Well first the girls get white purses that contain Applebottom apparel. As usual, there is some drama in this episode where Fatima tells Allison that her body is bigger then hers in general. Allison apparently has had to struggle with anorexia so she takes it up where the sun don’t shine, if you catch my drift.
The girls have a Covergirl makeup challengs where Claire is declared the winner. After the challenge and the girls are all chilling at the house, Allison imitates what happened earlier between herself and Fatima using dolls. She takes revenge on Fatima by saying that her butt is big and that she “takes it from the back.”
After this it’s makeover time, and copying true agencies, Tyra doesn’t tell the girls what their makeovers are the way she has done before. And this is probably the first time that I have ever seen this happen in any top model cycle, but all girls love their makeovers.
The girls go on a yacht for their photo shoot which is where they meet Elle McPhereson (can you say eeeeee????!!) and they pose wearing her new line called “intimates” which you could probably tell by the name is lingirie.
Now comes the time for judging (dun, dun, duh!) and Lauren receives praise for the fact that she can pull off her awkwardness as being high fashion. Domique and Allison are in the bottom two due to ones soccer mom look, and the other for her arrogance and bad photos. Allison is sent home which I found personally funny since she saaid she had experience and yet her photos looked like crap.

I think Tyra’s decision to not show them beforehand what was being was an excellent decision. No one had time to sit and cry over what they thought was going to happen.
And unlike last year, most of them looked at a lot better afterwards.
